VTCT Skills Level 4 Diploma in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation
The Level 4 Diploma in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation will provide you with the understanding and skills to provide permanent hair reduction for all hair types. Darker hair can be treated using intense light and laser systems, whilst lighter hair can be treated using electrical epilation.
This qualification will also provide you with the skills to treat skin imperfections and to rejuvenate the skin using either intense pulsed light systems, advanced epilation or microdermabrasion. You will gain a deeper understanding of the physiology of ageing and you will also focus on the management of client care and health and safety in the salon.

1. Entry requirements
There is no formal prerequisite qualification that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification.
Progression
This is an approved qualification for working as an advanced beauty therapist specialising in permanent hair removal and skin rejuvenation. It also provides a sound platform for further learning or training.

Assessment is set, marked and internally verified by the centre to clearly demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes. Assessment is sampled by VTCT Skills external verifies

Externally assessed question papers completed electronically will be set and marked by VTCT Skills.
Externally assessed hard-copy question papers will be set by VTCT Skills, marked by centre staff and sampled by VTCT Skills external verifiers
