VTCT Skills Level 7 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures
1. Entry requirements
For entry onto the VTCT Skills Level 7 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures qualification, learners are required to hold a VTCT Skills Level 5 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation or equivalent.
Learners are not required to be regulated independent prescribers/supervisors as they will be supervised at all times by a regulated independent prescriber/supervisor, who will have ultimate clinical oversight.
Learners who wish to undertake this qualification must also hold a regulated Level 3 Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis qualification.
2. What you will learn?
This qualification will focus on the required practical and theoretical knowledge to enable the learner consistently to administer safe, effective and appropriate injectable, non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
Learners must achieve all mandatory units which include:
* Psychological impacts and client expectations for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures
* Consultation principles for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures
* Managing Risks, Complications and sub-optimal outcomes
* Complications for Non-Surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures
* Aesthetic injectable procedures for the face using botulinum toxin
* Aesthetic injectable procedures for the face using dermal filler
3. Who is this qualification for?
The VTCT Skills Level 7 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures is designed for professionally qualified advanced aesthetic practitioners aged 18 and over. This qualification is designed for individuals who already possess advance knowledge and skills in non-surgical skin rejuvenation techniques.
This certificate also serves as an optional step in the progression route towards achieving the VTCT Skills Level 7 Diploma in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures. It provides comprehensive training in non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures, ensuring that practitioners are well-prepared to offer safe and effective procedures. By completing this level 7 certificate, learners will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue further education and certification in the Level 7 Diploma in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures, where applicable.

* Observed Summative Clinical Procedures
* Assignment – Short Answer Response (SAR)
* Assignment – Clinical Scenarios (CS)
* Summative External Theory Examinations
